New York City. 1922. Yank has spent his life shovelling coal on an ocean liner. Brutish, powerful and commanding, he knows where he belongs: in the stokehold. But when the daughter of a wealthy industrialist decides to slum it and see life below deck, Yank’s universe changes forever. Unable to forget the way she looked at him, Yank hits the booming streets of New York to seek revenge. With unflinching theatrical force and explosive lyricism, Eugene O’Neill explores the tragedy of a forgotten voice and the perennial human need to belong.

Harry Manx creates musical short stories that wed the tradition of the blues with the depth of classical Indian ragas. Dubbed “an essential link” between the music of east and west, his breathtaking live concerts feature his distinctive and engrossing vocals and his hypnotic playing of the Mohan Veena, a 20 string sitar/guitar hybrid that completes his signature sound. At The Isabel, Kingston's spectacular new performance hall.

Martin was an important sideman in several blues bands up until 2006, when he decided to step out and lead his own project. With a solid command of the guitar and the stage, Martin quickly established himself as a strong leader.
Influenced by such greats as Freddie King, Albert King, Brian Setzer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan and Duke Robillard – to name a few.
The Jives put on a high energy show of original songs inspired by the great R&B artists of the late ‘40s and early ‘50s like Louis Jordan and wild swing masters like Cab Calloway. With an emphasis on groove, improvisation and social satire, The Jivewires will get you jumpin' like you've never jumped before!
Despite cost increases, the price for these nights remains at $60 per person (the same as the past 3 years). That includes a delicious full course buffet dinner, the show and dancing. Proceeds from all BOTR nights go to support different local Westport charities. The Series has raised over $50,000 for the community over the past 9 years and the goal is to hit another $5K this season.
